While we had some downtime in Anchorage I took the time to interview one of Seattle's Happy Hardcore Pioneers, Jimini Crickit.

Excellent event last night.

Well, AC had to take off a bit earlier that we expected, and I never got around to interviewing him. Overall Winter Massif was a great event, and I was happy to be able to perform with both AC Slater and DJ Silver. Much of the Hardscience crew came out to support the hardcore, including Dave Science, Dummy, and Bobby Ritalin. Many photos were taken so expect those to be published in the next few days. Next week is Alaska, where I will definately be making a few audio posts.

Winter Massif on the 20th and Bringin the Boom the 27th.

Hello dance fans, Ian K here with a bit of an update. This week we are pleased to be visited by none other than AC Slater from NY and DJ Silver from Japan. They will be performing along with many seattle locals at Winter Massif this Fri the 20th. Should be a good night and I am excited to be MC'ing for AC. If you are in the area and want to check it out more info can be found here: Winter Massif,

Then next week I travel to the cold and frozen north, making my first visit to Alaska! DJ Samurai was kind enough to book myself and Jimini Crickit to come play up there, I'll be on double duty, MC'ing for Jimini's set of Old Skool Happy Hardcore then a Live PA of upfront Hardscience Tracks. You can check out the flyer in our FORUM

We should be adding a few new interviews as well in the coming weeks, and lots of photos of the crew in action! Until then, keep it bangin!

New Year, new site

Hello folks, and welcome to the new Hardscience.net After some hard work behind the scenes and a bit more to tidy up the looks of things, we're ready to go.

To kick things off we are releasing a new track, "Our Time" on trackitdown.net. This one is a bit rougher and tougher, so check it out!

The first major change you might notice is that we are running the whole main site as a blog. This does a few things for us. First, quick and easy updating by staff from any computer, anywhere. That alone makes it worthwhile. Second, we will be offering an RSS feed this month that syndicates our site, delivering our content to you, however you want.

We are also trying out a few new technologies, such as podcasting and videocasting. With some help from blog-guru Brent and our great friends at audioblog.com, we are now able to post audio and video for you to download. A great bit of technology that I am in love with is our ability to podcast right from our cell phones, check out the interviews below to hear it in action.

Hopefully in the next month we will begin giving you a new mix from various dj's that we feel are working hard to improve the dance scene. As our personal influences lean towards the harder side of dance, you can expect a lot of great Hardcore, Hard Dance, Freeform and NRG. However, we know that one flavor gets tired after a while, so we are expecting to mix it up a bit from time to time.

In closing, thank you for visiting hardscience.net and supporting a label that is trying to get off the ground. Feel free to join our forums to chat with us about just about anything, check out our webstore on trackitdown.net and support the music that you love! Here's to a good '06 from the Hardscience crew to you!
